About Netsite
This mirror is run by Netsite A/S, one of the oldest web hosts and domain registrars in Denmark. Netsite started in 1998 and is 100% privately and Danish owned.
We host tens of thousands of domains on our own Linux servers in Denmark, in two Digital Realty data centres in Ballerup near Copenhagen, which run on renewable energy. Our own network (AS205206) has a redundant 10 Gbit/s core and open peering at Netnod, NL-ix and STHIX.
We support open source because our hosting is built on it. This mirror is our way of giving back.
